| | | A performance driven, real twin-tip ski sized down for smaller dudes that like to go big. The rad graphics keep you looking like a pro, while lightweight, the fun and easy to ski feel helps you take your skills to the next level, years ahead of your time.
Development:
Concept: Trying to land backwards, rip the whole mountain, hit jumps, cruise trees, and ride pow on junior race skis is no fun. We set out to create a true twin-tip, all-terrain ski that was designed to have fun in the park and everywhere else on the mountain in all conditions.
Art: Since the first model of the Chronic was created in 2003 the Chronic has always had attacking crows integrated into the art to represent the ski's quick, very aggressive, and powerful performance. We decided this is going to be the last year of the crow theme so we asked epic artist Dan Mumford to create a theme that showed them being counter attacked.
Engineering: We made this ski a legit twin-tip by giving it a full height tip and tail. Obviously smaller skiers ride soft snow as much as adults so we gave it a reliable 80mm waist for floating in pow and uneven terrain yet still maintains great edge to edge quickness. When it came to materials, we choose only the best including a Poplar Macroblock core for extreme light weight durability and tons of pop and playfulness all over the mountain.
