| | | This is Eric's personal quiver of one. Plenty of width for the pow, tons of stability at speed, and the agility needed to use the entire mountain as his personal terrain park.
Technologies:
Early Taper
Sidewall
Maple Macroblock Core
Fatty Base and Edge
Symmetric Flex
G-Cut Geometry
Development (Written by Eric):
Concept: I wanted the Sir Francis Bacon to ride well in all conditions, something I could take up any day and not be disappointed.
Art: The bacon graphic I did this year is a huge collage. I made it in the shape of a rising sun, like the base graphic. I used photos, paintings, brush stokes, sketches, and text and assembled it all to make a super colorful piece. It´s one of my favorite graphics to date.
Engineering: We incorporated early taper to eliminate drag and hooking tips and tails, as well as helping the tip and tail sit deeper in the pow (pending on which direction you are going). The bacon is the most versatile ski in my line. It has a large waist, and a soft but very stable, symmetrical flex, making it easy to ride in the park, all over the mountain and in pow.
